The United Nations Department of Safety and Security

UNDSS is a network of security coordinators and advisors deployed wherever UN programmes are implemented. UNDSS maintains offices in more than 100 countries. While the primary responsibility for the safety and security of UN staff rests with the host government, UNDSS ensure security for staff and eligible dependents and enable the safest and most efficient conduct of the programmes and activities of the United Nations System.
