    April 27, 2017 - A forum-theater is held in the border school named after B. Khojaev in the village of Aksay in Batken Oblast with the participation of schoolchildren from the neighboring school No.62 of Vorukh enclave, Tajikistan, as well as officers from the State Border Services of Kyrgyzstan. Forum-theaters will be conducted in 19 schools of Batken Oblast, where 1,000 adolescents and community members living in border areas will learn rules for crossing border and undisclosed border areas.

    More than 40 participants from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Tajikistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, and development agencies such as UNICEF, UNDP and ILO, will meet on 25-26 April in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to discuss how social protection can contribute to eradicating poverty, fighting hunger and malnutrition and contributing to the development of rural areas in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

    Bishkek, 24 March 2017 – The Asian Cup 2019 qualification football match between Kyrgyzstan and Macau will be devoted to health and survival of children following the joint initiative of the Football Federation of Kyrgyzstan and UNICEF.
